Far too many happy memories to recount, his love for life, his family and nature was fantastic. A father, a mentor and a best friend. What more could a son ask for. There is one daft memory – a bit of a Frank Spencer Sketch. When Dad lived at Cunningham Gardens in BW, Paul and I were mucking around on the patio whilst Dad was painting his up stairs windows. The scene - Paint pot on the ladder rung, Dad brush in hand, siblings of teenage years messing about, dad needing to come down from the upstairs window to referee a situation. As he lands his feet on the last rung, the ladder wobbles enough to unsettle the well balanced pot of paint….. Leaving the rest to the imagination. Just to say the pair of us laughed until our bellies hurt. Always in our hearts, love you and miss you….xx
